Recommended Education Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university. Required Work Experience Two years of experience. Recommended Work Experience Pediatric experience. Required Certifications One of the following license or registry is required. Recommended Certifications ARRT – MRI Specialist – American Registry of Radiology Technologist (ARRT) ARMRIT – MRI Technician Certification – American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) Description Knowledge and skills to perform diagnostic scans as directed by Radiologists. Use correct scan protocols to optimize image quality while decreasing scan length and repeat procedures, and demonstrate knowledge of patient positioning and coil selection. Screen patients, families, and staff with attention to pregnancy and MRI contraindications. Follow all safety recommendations regarding MRI. Ensure that work area is properly maintained. Troubleshoot and report malfunctioning equipment. Comply with all TJC, state, federal, and local regulatory laws, standards, and protocols. Perform other duties as assigned. #J-18808-Ljbffr
