• Conduct thorough evaluations for pediatric, adult, and senior patients using a mixture of standardized assessments and observational methods.
• Craft individualized treatment plans focused on immediate goals alongside long-term communication, cognitive, and swallowing outcomes.
• Deliver tailored speech therapy interventions centered on communication skills, language fluency, voice modulation, and eating/swallowing methods.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, and families, to form unified care strategies.
• Educate patients and their families to enhance progress outside of therapy.
• Participate in inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions when necessary, promising continuity of care.
• Ensure comprehensive documentation that complies with state, federal, and organizational standards.
• Maintain professional growth by staying informed about the latest developments in speech-language pathology through continuing education and peer exchange.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is yet to be obtained.

Certifications

• Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be acquired within 30 days of hire.
