Description

• Conduct patient evaluations across various inpatient or outpatient scenarios and create tailored treatment strategies
• Implement therapeutic interventions aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
• Work in tandem with nurses, doctors, case managers, and the rest of the rehabilitation team to maximize patient outcomes
• Guide patients and their families through therapeutic objectives, discharge strategies, and at-home exercises
• Maintain detailed documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress in line with facility protocols
• Engage in multidisciplinary team discussions to ensure seamless care delivery

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent qualification from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is preferred
• Additional certifications in specialized areas (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are advantageous but not mandatory
