This position implements activities to recruit, engage, and retain program participants, either directly or through referral sources.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESCoordinate and staff community events, including workshops, fairs, and presentations, in collaboration with team membersDeliver presentations to physicians, medical professionals, legislators, parents, and community partners to raise awareness and generate referralsOrganize and lead monthly meetings with referral sources to strengthen partnerships and increase Help Me Grow referralsDevelop promotional materials, including fliers, newsletters, and website and social media content, in partnership with the Central Intake team, and contribute to the development and evaluation of the outreach planMaintain records of outreach activities and prepare reports, including the annual report to the Ohio Department of HealthWork occasional evenings and weekends to support community eventsQUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related fieldAbility to interact effectively with families from diverse backgrounds and cultures, and to present to service professionals and community groupsAbility to manage multiple tasks and maintain timely, accurate records for program reportingProficiency with technology and the Microsoft Office SuiteValid driver's license and automobile insurance, with access to reliable transportationPreferred: Bilingual English/Spanish; knowledge of local community resources; three years of experience working with economically challenged families; experience with Early Track, Adobe Acrobat Pro, FileMaker Pro, and email marketing software.IDEAL CANDIDATEThe ideal candidate is a relationship builder who is comfortable engaging with a wide range of audiences, from medical professionals to families to community leaders.
