Why This Role $17.00 - 17.50/hour Paid vacation, sick time, and holidays 401(k) eligibility Multiple bonus programs tied to property performance No late nights — office closes at 6 PM Safe, clean, air-conditioned work environment Clear career path: Assistant Manager, Property Manager, District Manager and beyond What You Will Do Drive sales, marketing, and occupancy at the facility Deliver outstanding customer service — phone, walk-in, and online inquiries Show, rent, and clean units; sell packing and moving supplies Manage delinquencies through scheduled outreach (calls, letters, invoices) Handle daily office operations: open/close, petty cash, bank deposits, reporting Maintain a clean, safe, and secure property — including light maintenance, lock checks, and daily inspections Assist with auction prep as required by law Maintain organized tenant documentation Who You Are Customer-focused with a positive attitude and strong work ethic Comfortable with basic computer and office skills Good communicator — written and verbal Self-starter who can work independently and stay organized Available to work weekends (Saturdays required) Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Must have a Real ID or Passport for air travel (effective 5/7/25) High school diploma required; some college preferred Prior retail, hospitality, restaurant, or self-storage experience is a plus — not required Physical Requirements This role involves a mix of office and outdoor work. You will sit or stand for extended periods, walk the property daily, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. You should be comfortable working in varying weather conditions. Other Requirements This person will travel to our national Training Center in San Antonio, TX for their first week of the job (expenses paid for by company). Must have a Real ID or Passport for air travel (effective 5/7/25).
