The ideal candidate for our entry‑level insurance agent position has the solid communication skills it takes to drive insurance sales among potential clients and new clients. Compensation $120,000+ at plan earnings Responsibilities Commit to remaining educated about the various types of insurance, insurance-related protocols, and policy changes to ensure fulfillment of program requirements and ensure our customers are satisfied. Listen to existing, new, and prospective clients to evaluate their needs and stage-of-life priorities before presenting insurance plan options for their specific circumstances. Update reports, records, bookkeeping systems, and other organizational tools to accurately report progress toward monthly insurance sales goals. Collaborate with policyholders to develop insurance risk management and other profiles that specify the best policies for their evolving insurance needs. Implement marketing strategies including, but not limited to, cold calling and networking to connect with potential clients while simultaneously maintaining a portfolio of current clients. Qualifications Job seekers must already have or be willing to get an insurance license. Fundamental computer skills such as experience with Microsoft Office. High school diploma necessary; college degree a bonus. Ability to learn and understand state and federal regulations that affect insurance sales, insurance clients, and the insurance industry as a whole. Working knowledge of accounting and sales lead software is a plus. Willingness to learn about investments, investment programs, and language for approaching clients and prospects when speaking on these services. Willing to get necessary licenses (SIE, Series 63, Series 7).
