Surgical Services - Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST)

CST SMMC SurgerySchedule: 06300-1900, 0930-2200, 1030-2300, on call 2300-0700, on call 0700-0700. Call: generally about 3 weekdays, and 2-3 weekend days (not full weekends) in a 6 week pay period.**MUST HAVE SPINE AND TOTAL JOINT EXPERIENCE, HARDSTOP DO NOT SCREEN** **either the NBSTSA or NCCT is acceptable for national cert** **Weekends required - may exceed every other to meet unit needs** Weekend/Holiday On Call • 0700 to 1900 • 0700 to 0700 **Cannot Accommodate Block Scheduling **ON-CALL RESPONSE TIME IS 30 MINS Start date: ASAP Shift: 3X12 Types of Cases REQ: General, Ortho, Ortho/Spine, Ortho/Total Joints, Urology, Endo/Laparoscopic, Vascular, Gyn, Abdominal hysterectomy, C-sections, Dilation & Curettage, Laparoscopic assisted gynecological procedures, Vaginal Hysterectomy, Scrubbing experience required, inpatient exp Types of Cases Preferred: Ophthalmology, Plastics, Podiatry, ENT, Robotic assisted Gynecological procedures, SPD experience preferred, outpatient exp Years of experience REQ: 2 years First-timers accepted: YES, If they have 3+ years of experience. Required Certs: BLS, CST, NBSTSA or NCCT Is on-call REQ? Yes. As needed Floating Req to Sister Facilities: Yes. To Outpatient Surgery Pavilion as needed, 3 OR suites. Locals accepted: Yes.
