Our Veterinary Receptionists are the face of the practice and play an important role in every client and patient experience. What You'll Do * Welcome clients and patients with warmth, empathy, and professionalism. * Manage multiple phone lines and respond to client questions clearly and courteously. * Schedule appointments and help coordinate the hospital's daily calendar. * Complete client follow-ups and communicate important information promptly. * Process payments and assist clients during check-in and check-out. * Help clients with pet food, medications, and other supply purchases. * Update patient charts and maintain accurate client and patient information. * Keep the reception area clean, organized, comfortable, and welcoming. * Communicate with veterinarians, technicians, and other team members to support efficient hospital operations. * Create a positive experience for every pet and person who contacts or visits the hospital. What You'll Bring * A genuine love of animals and commitment to their welfare. * Previous customer service experience. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * A calm, friendly, and professional telephone presence. * Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. * The ability to manage competing priorities in a busy hospital environment. * Excellent attention to detail when updating records and documenting communication. * A positive attitude and collaborative, team-first mindset. * Compassion and empathy for clients during both joyful and difficult moments. * Veterinary reception experience is a plus but not required.
