Food Service Worker - Part Time - Varied Shifts - 8hr FPH

Job Summary The Food Services Worker assists in the preparation, distribution, and service of patient and employee meals. Responsibilities include: Preparation and portioning of salads, desserts, beverages, and special patient snacks. Setup and breakdown of cafeteria food and supplies for each meal. Acting as the steam table server throughout the meal period. Washing, rinsing, and storing dishes and trays for future use. Assembling daily nourishment orders and transporting them to patient areas as required. Maintaining and cleaning all food preparation equipment used throughout the day. Participating in special cleaning projects as assigned. Exhibiting knowledge of appropriate food handling techniques and general rules of sanitation. Attending appropriate in‑service sessions as presented in the department. Qualifications Minimum education requirement: High School diploma or equivalent (preferred). Minimum experience requirement: On‑job training; excellent customer service skills required. License requirement: Serve Safe certification preferred; HACCP certification preferred.
