Therapist - Physical Therapist

Job Summary:

Provide specialized physical therapy services to patients within a hospital setting, focusing on post-acute rehabilitation. Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at optimizing patient recovery and functional independence.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess and treat patients with diverse physical therapy needs using evidence-based techniques.
  
  
• 
  Document patient progress accurately within the Meditech system and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams during team conferences to ensure comprehensive care.
  
  
• 
  Maintain equipment such as treadmills, RT300, Bioness systems, and other therapy devices.
  
  
• 
  Adhere to hospital policies, including call rotations and shift schedules.
  
  
• 
  Ensure compliance with all licensing, certification, and safety standards, including BLS and Florida PT licensure.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a valid Florida Physical Therapy license.
  
  
• 
  Possess BLS certification.
  
  
• 
  At least 2 years of relevant therapy experience, preferably in IRF or SNF settings.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate adaptability to fast-paced environments and independently manage patient caseloads.
  
  
• 
  Experienced with therapeutic equipment and documentation systems such as Meditech.
