Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in West Bloomfield, Michigan. This position involves providing leadership in delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care within the emergency department. The role requires utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, while effectively communicating with patients, families, and the healthcare team. Job Details Schedule: 3/12 shifts, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Required Qualifications: BSN, current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing, ACLS, BLS, and at least 1 year of clinical experience in emergency nursing. Preferred Qualifications: TNCC certification. Certifications: BLS - AHA, ACLS, TNCC (preferred), BSN. Skills: Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the emergency department; ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services; effective communication skills with patients, families, and hospital personnel. Responsibilities include providing direct patient care, supervising nursing staff, and participating in clinical operations within the emergency department.
