Registered Nurse Emergency Room

$3427.20/week –

Job Summary:
Provides expert nursing care in the Emergency Room setting, ensuring rapid assessment and intervention for diverse patient conditions. Supervises and coordinates activities of ER nursing staff, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality emergency care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients upon arrival to determine urgency and prioritize care needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures in accordance with established protocols.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to ER nursing staff while maintaining clinical standards.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, procedures, and discharge instructions.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive emergency care.

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Prior experience in an acute care facility, ideally in emergency or critical care.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced certifications such as ACLS and PALS required.
• Strong critical thinking, quick decision-making, and excellent communication skills.
