Billing Specialist

Southwest Houston area technology company is seeking a Billing Specialist on a temp-to-hire basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong billing, invoicing, and customer service experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is looking for long-term career growth.

Responsibilities

• Generate, review, and process customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner
• Verify billing information and resolve discrepancies
• Research and respond to customer billing inquiries
• Maintain billing records and ensure data accuracy within the system
• Work closely with internal departments to gather supporting documentation
• Monitor billing status and follow up on outstanding issues as needed
• Assist with month-end activities and reporting
• Support additional accounting and administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 2+ years of billing, invoicing, accounts receivable, or related accounting experience
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• High school diploma required; associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business is a plus

Pay rate is $23-26/hr. based on experience.
