Pharmacy Technician
1199SEIU Training and Employment Funds
Job Description Assist in the preparation, dispensing, manufacturing, and repackaging of medications. Assist in maintaining records and reports. Maintain sufficient inventories at workstations. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED/TASC required. AAS degree preferred. PTCB (Pharmacy Technician Certification Board) certification required. NYS Pharmacy Technician License required. Prior experience required. Schedule Positions are in hospitals and nursing homes, open 24/7. Availability includes days (7a-3p or 8a-4p), evenings (3p-11p or 4p-12a), and nights (11p-7a or 12a-8a). Every other weekend is usually required. Additional Requirements COVID-19 vaccination is required. Most positions include comprehensive Union benefits and competitive salaries.
