Maintenance Technician (Night Shift)

Maintenance Technician - Night Shift Location: Mentor, Ohio Shift: 5th Shift – Thursday - Sunday, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM What You'll Do Equipment Maintenance & Repair Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production equipment and machinery. Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Maintain and repair vacuum furnaces, autoclaves, conveyors, wax presses, robotic cells, and related equipment. Diagnose equipment failures and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime. Automation & Technical Support Perform maintenance and basic programming support for robotic systems. Assist with equipment upgrades, installations, and process improvements. Support production teams by ensuring equipment reliability and performance. Facility & Plant Support Complete maintenance work involving pipe fitting, plumbing, welding, soldering, and fabrication. Operate maintenance equipment, including forklifts, scissor lifts, and aerial lifts. Assist with equipment repairs at vendor, supplier, customer, and other company facilities when required. Perform limited construction and installation projects as assigned. Safety & Compliance Handle hazardous waste materials in accordance with MSDS requirements and company policies. Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a strong safety culture. Maintain clean, organized work areas and support 6S initiatives. Qualifications Required High school diploma or equivalent. Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced environment. Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards. Preferred Electrical degree, certification, or technical training. 3–5 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience. Experience with vacuum furnace operation and repair. Knowledge of robotic maintenance and programming. Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, pipe fitting, welding, and soldering. Experience supporting manufacturing production equipment in a team‑based environment. What Makes You Successful Self‑motivated with a strong sense of urgency.
