Receptionist/CashierWe are looking for a Receptionist/Cashier to manage all transactions with customers accurately and efficiently. As a Receptionist/Cashier, you will be the first point of contact for our company. Our Receptionist’s duties include offering administrative support across the organization. You will welcome guests and greet people who visit the business. You will also coordinate front-desk activities, including distributing correspondence and redirecting phone calls.To be successful as a Receptionist/Cashier, you should have a pleasant personality, as this is also a customer service role. Multitasking and stress management skills are essential for this position. This role may require working in shifts, so flexibility is a plus.Job responsibilities include receiving payments and issuing receipts, and keeping track of all cash, check, and credit transactions. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience in a customer service position. You should also be available to take evening and weekend shifts.Responsibilities:Manage transactions with customersCollect payments whether in cash, check, or creditIssue receipts, refunds, change or ticketsBalance CC machine at end of dayGreet customers when entering or leaving the storeMaintain clean and tidy work areaTrack transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepanciesDirect visitors to the appropriate person or departmentAnswer, screen and forward incoming phone callsProvide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/emailPerform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxingFile and stock-in vehicles as they are received
