Assignments span classrooms focused on autism, multiple disabilities, and emotional support, offering dynamic experiences for dedicated educators.

• Deliver individualized instruction and support in specialized settings.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team—including paraprofessionals, related service providers, and caregivers—to foster student growth.
• Implement and track IEP goals, manage classroom routines, and build strong relationships with families.
• Assignments available in Autism Support, Multiple Disabilities Support (MDS) at both elementary and advanced levels, and Emotional Support.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active Pennsylvania Special Education certification (role-dependent).
• Prior classroom experience in special education.
• Strong skills in designing and executing effective IEPs.
• Background using evidence-based instructional and behavioral strategies.
• Experience preferred in one or more of the following: autism programming (utilizing ABA, AAC, BIPs), supporting students with significant needs or complex disabilities (personal care, adapted curriculum), or emotional/behavioral support (trauma-informed, de-escalation protocols).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills essential.

Program-Specific Preferences:

• Autism Support: Comfort with communication supports (AAC, PECS), sensory regulation, and ABA strategies.
• Multiple Disabilities Support: Experience with skills development and personal care coordination.
• Emotional Support: Background in behavioral health, crisis prevention, and trauma-informed teaching.

Assignment Details:

• School-day schedules, start August 10, 2026, end June 11, 2027 (tentative, follows school calendar).
• Assignments require living within a 35-minute commute.
• Contract role.
