About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President of Marketing and Communications to lead its Association-wide function. The successful candidate will be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, providing strategic guidance on brand stewardship, integrated marketing, public and media relations, and digital engagement. This role is pivotal in advancing the company's charitable mission, strengthening public understanding of its impact, and supporting various engagement goals. The SVP will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy, ensuring a consistent and mission-aligned voice across all channels, and leading a team to achieve measurable results. Applicants for the Senior Vice President of Marketing and Communications position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, with a preference for a degree in a relevant discipline. A minimum of 5 years' progressive marketing experience, including at least 2 years in online digital marketing, is required. The role demands a proven track record in creating effective advertising and promotional materials, as well as marketing management experience. The ideal candidate will possess excellent writing, verbal communication, and proofreading skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Proficiency in a range of software and design tools is essential, and experience with diverse populations is a plus. The SVP will also be responsible for staff leadership, including recruitment, selection, and onboarding, and must be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of initiative.
