Key Account Executive (Sales Representative) - Central Montgomery County, MD

Labcorp Key Account Executive – Central Montgomery County, MD Labcorp is a global leader in diagnostic testing and drug development solutions. Key Responsibilities Educate, instruct, and upsell all assigned and newly generated accounts in an assigned territory. Act as a liaison between the client and the Labcorp operations team regarding client needs. Provide ongoing service and problem resolution to the customer base. Ensure customer retention by delivering superior customer service. Recommend client-focused, persuasive solutions. Manage day‑to‑day account operations for clients. Upsell current book of business to increase organic growth. Collaborate with senior sales representatives to expand the book of business. Continuously deliver educational material to the client base. Resolve any customer‑related issues promptly. Consistently meet or exceed monthly retention and upsell goals. Minimum Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree. Three or more years of previous outside sales experience or account management. Additional Job Standards Proven success managing a book of business. Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus. Superior customer service skills with the ability to build trust‑based relationships. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to deliver results in a fast‑paced, competitive market. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel. Ability to travel overnight as needed. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Compensation Pay Range: $65,000 to $80,000 base salary plus commission.Variable Compensation: Eligible for bonus and/or commissions under the applicable variable compensation plan, earned based on achievement of performance metrics. Benefits Employees scheduled 20 or more hours per week: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees scheduled less than 20 hours, casual, intern, and temporary employees: eligible for the 401(k) plan. Employees on a 7 on/7 off schedule: eligible for all benefits except PTO or FTO.
