This position combines environmental, health, and safety leadership with industrial facility maintenance responsibilities in a cutting-edge semiconductor and advanced manufacturing operation.

What You'll DoEnvironmental Health & Safety (EHS)

• Manage the safe receipt, storage, labeling, segregation, and handling of hazardous chemicals.
• Maintain chemical inventories and ensure current Safety Data Sheets (SDS) are readily available and compliant.
• Perform routine inspections of chemical storage areas, waste accumulation points, containment systems, and EHS equipment.
• Support hazardous waste operations in compliance with EPA, RCRA, DOT, OSHA, and applicable state regulations.
• Verify hazardous waste containers are properly labeled, closed, dated, stored, and documented.
• Coordinate waste pickups, manage manifests, support vendor activities, and maintain regulatory records.
• Conduct facility-wide EHS audits to identify hazards, risks, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Inspect and maintain emergency eyewash stations, safety showers, spill kits, PPE stations, fire and emergency equipment.
• Ensure spill-response supplies remain fully stocked, operational, and accessible.
• Participate in emergency response drills, evacuations, and preparedness exercises.
• Respond to chemical releases and incidents within training and authorization requirements.
• Assist with incident investigations, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and near-miss reporting.
• Deliver safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness programs related to Hazard Communication, PPE, chemical safety, and emergency response.
• Maintain accurate records for inspections, training, waste management, incidents, and compliance activities.
• Exercise stop-work authority and immediately address serious safety or environmental concerns.

Facilities & Maintenance

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain facility infrastructure and manufacturing support equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on pumps, valves, piping systems, HVAC equipment, exhaust systems, scrubbers, compressed air systems, plumbing, and chemical delivery systems.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and process equipment issues and implement effective solutions.
• Support wet-process tools and critical manufacturing systems to maximize uptime and reliability.
• Inspect equipment for leaks, corrosion, abnormal conditions, and developing failures before they impact production.
• Read and interpret P&IDs, blueprints, schematics, technical manuals, and engineering drawings.
• Complete work orders, preventive maintenance activities, and repair documentation within the CMMS system.
• Safely operate forklifts, lifts, hoists, and rigging equipment when trained and certified.
• Partner with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure safe and efficient project execution.
• Serve as a technical resource and mentor for fellow Facilities Technicians.

What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications

• 3+ years of Environmental Health & Safety experience in an industrial environment.
• 1+ year of facilities, industrial maintenance, or manufacturing equipment maintenance experience.
• Experience supporting semiconductor, cleanroom, chemical-processing, microelectronics, pharmaceutical, or advanced manufacturing operations.
• Strong understanding of OSHA regulations, hazardous materials handling, chemical safety, and environmental compliance.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems in a fast-paced production environment.
• Experience maintaining detailed regulatory and maintenance records.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Certifications & Education

• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 (General Industry)
• HAZWOPER Certification
• RCRA Hazardous Waste Training
• DOT Hazardous Materials Training
• First Aid / CPR / AED Certification
• Forklift Certification
• HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Pipefitting, Mechanical, or Industrial Maintenance certifications
• Associate Degree or Technical/Trade School education in:

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Mesa, AZ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $72800.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
