Group Leader – Assembly Location: North Mankato, MN, 56003, United States About the Team: The ZF Off-Highway Solutions Minnesota Inc. team designs and manufactures hydraulic and electrohydraulic components, controls, and brake systems for off‑highway machines. As a member of the Assembly Team, the group leader will be responsible for assembling and testing a variety of company products, providing work direction and support to the production team, advising on production schedule and delivery with production planners, suggesting and implementing continuous improvement initiatives, all while maintaining a clean and safe workplace. Key Responsibilities Provide work direction and support to production and assembly teams. Advise production planners on scheduling and delivery. Suggest and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain a clean and safe workplace. Interpret engineering prints, drawings, routing sheets, and test specifications. Work with cross‑functional teams on design for manufacturability, workstation design, plant layout and EHS. Fasten parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, or other fasteners. Prepare and present continuous improvement ideas to management. Serve as ambassador of the plant's 5S program and initiative. Qualifications 3+ years working in a production environment. Prior leadership or supervisory responsibilities (a plus). Basic understanding of hydraulics (a plus). High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally, 35 lbs. regularly. Ability to operate a computer and other electronic equipment. Ability to communicate effectively within and across departments. Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and Microsoft Suite. Proficient use of computer programs such as PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. Base Compensation: $19.00 – $29.00 per hour.
