Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license in Maryland (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in an educational or school-based setting
• Strong understanding of IEPs and individualized goal-setting
• Excellent communication skills to interact with students, teachers, and parents
• Ability to effectively manage a caseload and maintain thorough documentation
• Team-oriented with problem-solving abilities
• Adaptable to varied student needs and dynamic school environments

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy assessments, interventions, and ongoing services to K-12 students
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
• Educate staff, families, and students on strategies for mobility, accessibility, and physical development
• Participate in meetings, training, and school events as required
• Foster an inclusive, supportive environment to promote each student’s success
