Material Handler - 2nd Shift

Reviews daily schedule of production work orders and stages all required raw materials for operators. Maintains an organized warehouse storage system. Essential Functions Adheres to WMC’s quality management system. Inspects product load for accuracy and safely moves it around the warehouse to ensure timely and complete delivery. Sorts product before loading and unloading. Maintains an organized warehouse storage system. Manually or mechanically loads or unloads materials from pallets or other transport vehicles. Secures material or products for transport to designated areas. Works closely with BDB employees to maintain the required inventory levels at Moore Street as stated by SCM. Reviews daily schedule of production work orders and stages all required raw materials. Moves controls to drive propane-powered trucks and transport materials between loading, processing, and storage areas. Installs protective devices, such as bracing, padding, or strapping, to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported. Safety Requirements: Understand and follow all WMC Health & Safety Practices. Report all injuries and unsafe work conditions. Attend mandatory safety training and request additional training as needed. All other duties as assigned. Education and/or Experience High School diploma or GED required. Experience in a manufacturing environment required. At least 1 year of forklift. Work Environment Plant/manufacturing facility. Not completely temperature controlled. Second Shift Schedule: Monday through Friday, 2:45 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Base pay plus generous shift premium.
