Our Company Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation Overview Rehab Without Walls is hiring a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our Home & Community Rehabilitation team in San Antonio, TX! Who we are looking for: We’re seeking a LCSW to support individuals with neurological injuries such as stroke and traumatic brain injury (TBI). In this vital role, you’ll provide therapeutic interventions to promote emotional and social adjustment, while collaborating with the rehab team to maximize patient outcomes and help overcome barriers to progress. Prefer 2+ years of experience with knowledge of neurological injuries and/or medical social work background. Sets measurable objectives that are formulated in conjunction with the rehab team. Assists the physician and other health team members in understanding the significant social and emotional factors related to the patient's health problems. Instructs/counsels patients and families in treating and coping with social and emotional response connected with illnesses. Participates in care coordination activities and acts as a resource to other health team members in the identification and resolution of patient needs. Identifies and assists the patient and/or family to utilize appropriate community resources to achieve measurable objectives. Qualifications What you’ll need: Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work (LCSW). Current Licensed Clinical Social Worker Licensure in the state of practice. Minimum of one year experience in a rehabilitation setting serving individuals who have experienced a traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury or acute diagnosis. Current BLS (Basic Life Support) First Aid and CPR certification required. Ability to lift 50 pounds. Moving, lifting, or transferring of patients which may involve lifting of up to 100 pounds following safety procedures. Duties require fine motor skills, visual acuity, and walking/standing for extended periods. Additional physical requirements include pushing/pulling, bending/stooping, reaching, kneeling, and positioning frequently at times. #J-18808-Ljbffr
