Quality Lab Technician: Testing, Analysis & Reporting

Your Role The Laboratory Technician will safely support product development and/or technical service of customers by doing general lab work including preparation and testing of materials. Responsibilities Safely perform physical testing of chemicals/ingredients. Provide quality testing, sampling, analysis, formulation, characterization to ensure quality/standards are being met. Document quality activities to prove a record of quality compliance efforts. Maintains cleanliness of the lab as well as other routine laboratory tasks. Conducts quality control testing and recertification of products as necessary. Produces document(s) to communicate lab results. Participates in joint sales calls and conference calls with sales representatives at customers. Participates in principal/vendor visits and conference calls to present lab findings and recommendations. Other duties assigned. Skills Analytical and conceptual thinking Ability to set priorities and meet objectives Proven time management skills and ability to meet deadlines Strong written and oral communication skills Self-motivated and task oriented Experience / Education Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related field or commensurate of education and experience. One year of laboratory experience preferred.
