Production Operator - 3rd Shift

Production OperatorWe are seeking a dedicated Production Operator to join our team in the rubber manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have experience working in production or machine operating environments and be ready to take on a physically demanding role. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a stable work history who is looking to grow and advance within the company.Key Responsibilities:Stack large plates of rubber after cutting on the production lineOperate machinery and mills for cutting rubber productsTrain on the mixing machine that combines rubber and other compounds to create final productsWork on machines that seal bags with raw materialsOpportunity for cross-training in multiple areas of the production lineGain forklift certification for added responsibilitiesJob Requirements:Must be willing and able to work 10-hour shifts, Monday through Thursday, with occasional overtime on FridaysMust be able to lift up to 80 lbs and be on your feet throughout the entire shiftComfortable working in a dirty environment, including handling rubber and carbon blackProduction or machine operating experience is preferredExperience with Banbury machines, milling, compounding, and mixing in the rubber industry is a plusStable work history; we are looking for candidates who have not frequently jumped from temp job to temp jobBenefits & Advancement Opportunities:Earn a $1/hour raise after being converted to a full-time employeeAdditional opportunities for advancement and raises within the first yearCross-training in various areas of productionForklift certification opportunities
