Shipping & Receiving Coordinator

What You Will Do:

We are seeking a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to play a critical role in ensuring all packages containing component parts, units and supplies from delivery trucks are unloaded verifying correct addresses and the number of packages delivered. All products are then unpacked verifying the part number and quantity matches accompanying paperwork before entering information into the computer system. The receiving clerk is responsible for driving a forklift to unload skids or supplier material from trucks, in addition to putting supplies away on the pallet racking. The shipping clerk's responsibilities are to accurately prepare, package, document, and ship to customers and suppliers worldwide.

In this role, you will collaborate with multiple departments and coordinate the end-to-end receiving and shipping process. Responsibilities include preparing domestic, government, and international shipments; generating required shipping documentation; and ensuring compliance with company, customer, and regulatory requirements. This on-site position is located at our headquarters in Oak Creek, Wisconsin, and reports to the Supervisor of Shipping & Receiving.

How You Will Do It:
* Read and verify pick list, packing list, and invoices.

* Unloading packages from trucks, verifying all information and paperwork.

* Demonstrate accuracy when completing transactions in computer system.
* Drive forklift to unload skids or supplier material from trucks and put shipping boxes and supplies on pallet racking.

* Prepare commercial, government, and export shipping documentation, including airbills, shipping labels, and other required forms.

* Create and process shipments using the company's ERP system as well as FedEx and UPS shipping software.
* Receive products from internal departments and prepare them for shipment to customers and suppliers.
* Review engineering drawings and ERP documentation to correctly identify, label, and nameplate products prior to shipment.
* Package products in accordance with company standards, customer specifications, and applicable government regulations.
* Generate customer shipping labels and required documentation through customer-specific web portals when applicable.
* Enter shipment details, delivery information, and tracking data into ERP systems and customer portals.
* Print, verify, and process customer orders, packing slips, shipping labels, and related documentation.
* Properly label, mark, and prepare shipping containers to ensure safe and compliant transportation.
* Coordinate with internal teams to ensure shipments are accurate, complete, and delivered on schedule.
* Assist with shipping, receiving, and other warehouse-related activities as needed.

What We Look For

Required

* Must be a U.S. person as defined under U.S. export regulations.

* Minimum High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
* Minimum one year of shipping and/or receiving experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
* Experience working with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
* Proficient computer skills include the ability to learn and navigate multiple software applications.
* Ability to accurately prepare shipping documentation while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
* Ability to safely lift and move up to 50 pounds

* Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures

* Must have forklift experience.

* IFS experience
* Experience using shipping software such as FedEx Ship Manager, UPS WorldShip, or similar systems.
