ABOUT OUR AGENCY
I opened my agency in 1990, and today I’m fortunate to work alongside a team of eight talented professionals. I actually began my career as a team member right out of college before stepping into agency myself, so I understand the role from the ground up. I’m a proud graduate of Elon University, and outside the office I’m a husband and father of two. Community involvement is a big part of who I am. I stay active in local events, support a number of charities, and give back to many of the area schools. I offer my team a strong benefits package that includes PTO, a health stipend, a hiring bonus after 90 days, 401k, and reimbursement for licensing costs. Our office is a genuinely fun place to work—we enjoy what we do, and we enjoy doing it together. As Account Associate - State Farm Agent Team Member for Mike Shoffner - State Farm Agent, you are vital to our daily business operations and customers’ success. You grow our agency through meaningful customer relations and acting as a liaison between customer needs and agency departments. You improve the lives of our customers by proactively marketing relevant products and services. Grow your career as you better your community. Manage customer accounts and update information in the database. Assist customers with policy changes and inquiries. Process insurance claims and follow up with customers on claim status. Coordinate with underwriters to ensure timely policy issuance.QUALIFICATIONS
