Schedule: 3x12 Days (shift times vary: 0645-1915 or 0900-2130), weekend rotation required, limited call coverage for call-offs only, 60 guaranteed hours per 2-week period

Highlights:

• 13-week assignment at a 407-bed Magnet-designated acute care hospital and Level II Trauma Center
• Work with state-of-the-art technology including Da Vinci Xi Surgical System, Mazor Spine Robot, and Stealth navigation
• Diverse surgical specialties including trauma, orthopedic/spine, neuro, bariatric, oncology, vascular, and pediatrics
• Epic charting system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including lift teams, pharmacy, and interpretation services
• 18 operating rooms serving a daily census of approximately 40 cases across all age groups
• Free parking provided

Requirements:

• Active Alaska RN license (pending license accepted for submission, but must be in hand prior to start)
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience required
• BLS certification required; ACLS and CNOR preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required (first-time travelers not accepted)
• Comprehensive OR skills across multiple surgical specialties including general, orthopedic, neuro, trauma, vascular, gynecology, ENT, urology, and pediatric cases
• Willingness to float to like units as needed
• Availability to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
• Permanent address must be at least 50 miles from facility
• Hepatitis B vaccine required (titers or declination not accepted)
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
