Work/Life: Monday‑Friday. What you will do The LPN administers nursing care to patients under the direction of a Registered Professional. Assists with treatments, procedures, and carries out selected duties within the framework of the established nursing plan of care. Complies with established nursing policies, procedures, and standards to provide safe, quality care to patients. Responsibilities Consistently take accurate vital signs. Accurately collect routine patient data per protocols and/or as directed by the clinical supervisor. Consistently recognize high‑risk situations and report them appropriately. Confers with the clinical supervisor routinely concerning the plan of care. Make suggestions as to referrals to other disciplines. Fulfill protocols or clinical guidelines in establishing workflow priorities. Consistently demonstrate acceptable technical skills in providing care. Consistently follow standards of care, established protocols, or clinical guidelines in providing patient care. Consistently follow infection‑control policies in administering care. Consistently provide patient care in consideration of age‑related requirements. Consistently reinforce patient and family teaching. Administer medications safely in accordance with relevant unit policies and procedures. Demonstrate ability to accurately transcribe physician orders. Demonstrate a working knowledge of computer skills relevant to the care area. Demonstrate initiative and flexibility with assignments. Function as a team member in carrying out assignments. Qualifications and Requirements A current license to practice as a Practical Nurse in the State of New York. Graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing. High School diploma or GED required. Must be able to lift 20 lbs. Pay Range $23.85‑$29.95 per hour, based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
