The position focuses on driving next-generation product development, improving performance of existing systems, and defining long-term technology roadmaps-particularly through advanced embedded electronics and microprocessor-based architectures.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop embedded electronic systems centered on microprocessor and microcontroller platforms for high-precision sensing applicationsArchitect and implement low-noise analog and mixed-signal circuitry integrated with embedded processing solutionsLead the development and release of new products, with full ownership of electronics design from concept through productionEvaluate product performance limitations and define system-level improvements through both hardware and embedded firmware enhancementsTroubleshoot complex system issues down to root cause, spanning electronics, embedded systems, and sensor behaviorCollaborate closely with cross-functional teams including firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing engineering to drive product successContribute to technology roadmaps by introducing new embedded processing approaches, architectures, and design methodologiesRequired Experience & SkillsExtensive experience designing embedded systems using microprocessors and/or microcontrollers, including system architecture, interfacing, and bring-upStrong background in low-noise electronics, precision analog design, and sensor integrationProven ability to develop and support complex, multidisciplinary products in a production environmentExperience debugging and optimizing embedded systems, including hardware/software interaction and system-level troubleshootingHands-on engineering capability, including test development, lab setup, and validation of embedded electronic systemsWorking knowledge of manufacturing processes, including documentation control, BOM structures, and engineering change (ECO) processesAbility to operate independently, drive technical decisions, and contribute as a lead member of cross-functional teamsPreferred BackgroundExperience with precision sensors, instrumentation systems, or vacuum-based technologiesFamiliarity with semiconductor capital equipment or highly regulated industrial environmentsExposure to firmware development or close collaboration with embedded software teamsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (advanced degree preferred)10+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with a strong emphasis on embedded microprocessor-based system design
