Clinic Coordinator

The Clinic Coordinator is responsible for ensuring employees acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to perform effectively in their roles through training programs.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing the non-provider float staff pool, including Medical Assistants (MA), Administrative Assistants (AA), and Administrative Medical Assistants (AMA).
• Promoting a positive, collaborative team culture focused on accountability and exceptional patient service.
• Developing and managing weekly schedules for MA, AA, and AMA staff ensuring adequate coverage for clinic and administrative duties.
• Reviewing and approving or denying PTO requests and maintaining PTO calendars to ensure adequate float coverage.
• Working with the Clinical Trainer to ensure assigned float staff are appropriately trained on practice-specific protocols.
• Communicating coverage plans to physicians and managers during planned and unplanned staff absences.
• Assigning daily tasks to float staff when not covering clinic needs.
• Managing call-outs and reassigning float staff as necessary.
• Performing additional duties as assigned.

Education and experience required:

• High School Diploma required.
• Medical Assistant Diploma, Registered Medical Assistant license, MA Certification or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in related medical assistant field

Preferred qualifications and skills:

• Clinic Lead experience preferred.
