Key Responsibilities\n

• Assist with the planning and organization of outpatient mental health services to ensure comprehensive care delivery.

• Collaborate effectively with physicians and healthcare providers to communicate patient progress, address concerns, and identify potential issues impacting treatment.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and timely records, including comprehensive clinical notes, in accordance with the clinic’s policies and procedures.

• Engage in interdisciplinary teamwork to develop and implement treatment plans, including detailed discharge plans, based on thorough psychosocial assessments.

• Provide counseling services and crisis intervention to patients, focusing on the assessment and management of emotional and behavioral difficulties.

• Consult with family members or support systems to facilitate effective client treatment and discharge planning.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The patients you will support often come from various socioeconomic backgrounds and face issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health disorders. Qualifications\n

• Minimum of two years of experience in an outpatient mental health setting.

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

• Active and unrestricted licensure in the state as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).

• Strong capacity for independent work while also being an active participant in a healthcare team.

• Excellent proficiency in both written and spoken English to facilitate effective communication.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office Suite.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience with high-risk patient populations, particularly those facing significant mental health challenges, is highly valued. Familiarity with treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) will be advantageous in this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n
