Disability Coordinator (DC)

Responsibilities Serve as the California Department of Social Services’ Disability Coordinator (DC) under the Disability Management Section. Conduct highly technical, consultative and complex analytical duties to support Reasonable Accommodation (RA), Lactation Accommodation (LA), Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and Workers’ Compensation (WC). Process requests and claims, interact with employees regarding medical restrictions and medical leave, and apply all applicable federal and state laws. Provide executive, managerial, and supervisory advice, guidance, and direction on disability-related policies, regulations, and procedures. Maintain data integrity and compliance with organizational policies in a high‑volume workload. Minimum Qualifications Analyst III classification with a salary range of $6,623.00 – $8,290.00 per month. Eligibility to reside in California upon appointment. Working Conditions The work location is centrally located with convenient public transit access. The position is eligible for hybrid work in accordance with the Governor’s Executive Order N‑22‑25, with the requirement to be onsite for essential engagements.
