Project Manager - Senior

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to support backend, platform‑focused initiatives within a modern engineering environment. This role is ideal for a project manager with a strong technical foundation who enjoys driving execution, influencing stakeholders, and managing multiple workstreams in a highly collaborative setting.
This is a 1‑year contract opportunity with the potential to convert to permanent , offering meaningful project ownership and visibility across engineering teams.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and execute a key platform initiative focused on defining and delivering domain‑level blueprints
- Manage multiple small‑to‑medium technical projects concurrently, ensuring timely delivery
- Coordinate cross‑functional stakeholders across infrastructure and engineering teams
- Drive project tracking, planning, and execution using Jira and Confluence
- Support governance and enablement efforts related to APIs and shared platform services
- Assist with future planning activities, including annual roadmap coordination
- Quickly onboard and operate independently in a fast‑moving, metric‑driven environment
What We’re Looking For
- 5–7 years of professional project management experience
- Technical background in software development, infrastructure platforms, or backend systems
- Strong working knowledge of APIs and message‑driven architecture
- Experience managing non‑user‑facing, platform or infrastructure initiatives
- Proven ability to drive execution and deliver projects on time
- Agile experience required; Scrum certification is a plus
- Self‑motivated, proactive, and comfortable working with minimal oversight
