Job Title: Compliance Manager

Location: Beverly, MA

Compensation: $120k - $130k/yr base salary + Benefits Package

Requirements: MBA, or Law Degree preferred, 5+ years exp in a Control or Oversight role, Leadership/Management, Manufacturing Industry familiarity 

Position Overview
A leading precision manufacturing organization is seeking a Compliance Manager to oversee corporate compliance, contract management, and risk mitigation initiatives across the business. This is a high-visibility role reporting directly to executive leadership, responsible for ensuring legal and regulatory compliance while driving efficient contract execution and protecting the organization from operational and commercial risk.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage customer, supplier, and employment-related contracts from review through execution.
• Lead contract negotiations and identify potential legal, financial, and operational risks.
• Develop, implement, and maintain compliance programs, policies, and internal controls.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Conduct internal compliance audits and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
• Support matters related to trade compliance, customs regulations, and export controls.
• Develop and deliver compliance training programs across the organization.
• Partner with leadership to promote ethical business practices and corporate governance.
• Provide compliance reporting and recommendations to executive management

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years of progressive compliance experience, ideally within Manufacturing and Commercial environments.
• Experience reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Strong understanding of business, commercial, contract, or regulatory compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business systems.
• Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with export controls, trade compliance, customs regulations, or quality standards is a plus.
