Position Summary We are currently hiring Medical Assistant/Phlebotomy Technician to work in our Bronx-based family medicine practice- St. Lawrence Community Health Center. Individuals must have a Medical Assistant Certificate/Training Program Completed and a National Certified Phlebotomy Technician certification to qualify. This position requires language skills that include bilingual English/Bengali OR English/Spanish. You will support our Bronx-based family health center where we provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages. Key Duties Process blood draws, collect specimens and process lab orders. Prepare examination rooms and equipment. Obtain vital signs, chief complaints, medical history and accurately record them in medical records. Complete referrals and discharge patients. Assist providers and nurses during all aspects of exams. Assist provider with treatments. Schedule appointments, verify insurance and demographic information. Starting Compensation Minimum: $23.00/hour; Maximum: $23.00/hour; Additional $1,500/annum in differential pay. Work Environment, Location, and Schedule On-site in the Bronx, Monday‑Friday 8:00am‑5:00pm. Minimum Qualifications Medical Assistant Certificate/Training School and National Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT). Bilingual Spanish/English or English/Bengali required. High School Diploma or GED required. Computer literacy. Responsible individual who genuinely wants to support patients.
