Client Services Specialist Legal Services of Greater Miami, Inc. (Legal Services), a top-rated non-profit law firm serving the South Florida poverty community, is seeking a highly motivated, Client Services Specialist. Position Summary Under the supervision of the Community Engagement and Intake Director, the Client Services Specialist performs the primary essential functions and responsibilities listed below. Interview clients. Serve as receptionist and/or operator based on program need. Screen clients for eligibility. Make referrals as appropriate. Provide applicants with self-help educational material, and general information, as appropriate. Assist at various clinics sponsored by the program. Conduct intake at outreach sites as assigned. Qualifications Commitment to promoting the mission, vision, and values of Legal Services. Ability to accurately screen applicants and make referrals. Ability to effectively communicate with applicants, treat them with respect, and maintain confidentiality. Effectively utilize the case management system. Ability to communicate effectively on the telephone and take accurate messages. Ability to willingly accept and carry out directions from supervisor. Exhibit a spirit of teamwork and cooperation in completing job responsibilities. Have a work record which reflects dependability including availability on a prompt and regular basis. Demonstrated proficiency with technology. Knowledge of Legal Server desirable. Fluency in Spanish or Haitian Creole a plus. Professional demeanor and excellent communication skills paired with a service-oriented attitude. Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s degree required Salary/ Benefits Starting salary is $36,500 with no experience.
