The Work Youll Be Doing

In this role, you will:

Set up and operate CNC lathes to manufacture precision aerospace components

Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications

Program and edit CNC lathe programs using G-code

Select tooling, establish offsets, and verify workholding setups

Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency

Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections

Use precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, and gauges

Troubleshoot machining issues and optimize production processes

Perform routine machine maintenance and preventative care

Work closely with fellow machinists and quality personnel to meet production schedules

Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment

What Were Looking ForRequired

10+ years of CNC lathe machining experience

Strong CNC setup, programming, and machine operation skills

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

Experience using precision inspection equipment

Strong understanding of tooling, offsets, and machining processes

Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability

High attention to detail and commitment to quality

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred

Aerospace manufacturing experience

Experience in highly regulated industries

CNC machining certification or technical training

CAD/CAM software experience

Experience programming CNC lathes

Multi-axis machining experience
