Join a leading hospital-based Interventional Radiology team in beautiful Chattanooga, Tennessee . We are seeking Board Certified or Board Eligible Interventional Radiologist to provide ongoing coverage from September 2026 through January 2027 . This is an exceptional opportunity for physicians seeking a high-volume, procedure-focused practice with strong clinical support, flexible scheduling, and competitive locum compensation.

Work in a modern hospital environment delivering a broad range of advanced interventional procedures while collaborating with experienced multidisciplinary teams. Diagnostic reading is optional, making this an excellent fit for physicians who prefer a predominantly or exclusively interventional practice.

Position Highlights

Hospital-based Interventional Radiology practice
Coverage needed September 2026 through January 2027
Monday-Friday onsite schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Weeknight call coverage: 4:00 PM - 8:00 AM
Weekend and holiday 24-hour call coverage
Diagnostic reading not required
Full support staff provided
Modern technology including Merge PACS, Powerscribe 360, and Dragon
Multiple providers needed for ongoing coverage
Located in scenic Chattanooga, TN

Candidate Requirements

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology
Tennessee Medical License or IMLC eligibility
Active DEA Certification
Current BLS and ACLS Certification
Availability to begin in September 2026
Ability to provide ongoing coverage through year-end

Practice Scope

The selected physician will perform a comprehensive range of Interventional Radiology procedures, including vascular interventions, angiography, embolization, biopsies, drain placements, TIPS, venous access procedures, hepatobiliary interventions, tumor ablation, vertebral augmentation, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and other image-guided therapeutic procedures.
