\n

Location: Eastlake area (Seattle, WA)

\n

Type: Full-Time (On-Site)

\n

About us :\n

At Accipiter Biosciences, we are pioneering a new class of biologics through advanced de novo protein design. Our platform integrates cutting-edge computational methods, high-throughput screening, and synthetic biology to engineer multifunctional proteins that tackle some of today’s most pressing therapeutic challenges. As a fast-paced, mission-driven startup, we provide the opportunity to make a direct and lasting impact on the future of therapeutic innovation.

\n

Position Overview :\n

We are seeking a talented and passionate scientist with experience in developing T cell targeted therapies (bispecific antibodies, or T cell engagers) in a fast-paced, scientifically rigorous environment. This position will challenge you to apply your expertise in immunology, immune-oncology, and pharmacology to engineer the next generation of multifunctional therapeutics. In collaboration with cross-functional teams throughout the company, you will aid in the discovery, optimization, and nomination of new drug candidates for clinical development.

\n

Key Responsibilities :\n

·        Apply foundational immunology and oncology knowledge to support development of new therapeutic concepts.

\n

·        Contribute to preclinical programs from target selection through lead generation, optimization, candidate nomination, and IND submission.

\n

·        Design, plan, execute, and analyze in vitro and in vivo murine studies to understand synergistic mechanisms in cancer.

\n

·        Develop, optimize and perform in vitro assays to identify and characterize biological leads.

\n

·        Collaborate and communicate with cross-functional teams to design experiments and advance programs.

\n

·        Stay updated on the latest scientific developments and trends in targeted therapies and incorporate relevant advancements into experimental planning.

\n

·        Contribute to patent filings, publications, and external presentations.

\n

Qualifications: \n

·        Ph.D. in immunology or related field

\n

·        Strong hands-on experience with T cell targeted therapies, bispecifics, and/or T cell engagers

\n

·        Experienced with designing and analyzing cell-based assays (mouse and human) including flow cytometry, cytokine profiling, cell killing assays, and more.

\n

·        Strong problem-solving skills and understanding of complex scientific principles.

\n

·        Detail oriented, with the ability to effectively communicate in a team-oriented environment.

Work Location & Schedule \n

This is a full-time, on-site position based at our facility in the Eastlake neighborhood of Seattle. Remote work is not available for this position. Core hours are Monday through Friday 10-3; flexibility in start and end times is available through conversation with supervisor.
