Job Title: Legal Front Desk Specialist
Duration: Approximately 3+ Months contract  
Pay Rate: $21/hr
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (40 hours/week)
Location: Los Angeles, CA 90067 (Onsite)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a professional and detail-oriented Senior Legal Receptionist & Switchboard Specialist to support a busy legal office environment. This role will serve as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and employees while providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, professional phone etiquette, and experience supporting front desk or switchboard operations, preferably within a legal or corporate setting.

Key Responsibilities:
Welcome and assist visitors, clients, and employees with a professional and courteous approach.
Answer and manage incoming phone calls while maintaining proper phone etiquette.
Monitor visitor access and follow office security procedures.
Schedule and maintain conference room calendars, ensuring rooms are prepared for meetings.
Coordinate meeting arrangements, including ordering catering, beverages, and supplies as needed.
Provide light administrative support, including invoice entry, document preparation, filing, and calendar management.
Assist with Microsoft Office tasks, including Word and Excel.
Maintain an organized and professional reception area.
Manage office supplies and assist with supply ordering and organization.
Provide hospitality support for meetings and office events.
Assist with tracking and issuing office property such as badges, phones, and other equipment.
Build and maintain professional relationships with clients, attorneys, staff, and visitors.
Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
High school diploma required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
3+ years of related administrative, receptionist, or switchboard experience preferred.
Experience in a legal office or professional services environment strongly preferred. 
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel.
Ability to handle confidential information professionally. 
Ability to work with office technology and equipment.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Experience:
Legal receptionist or law firm front desk experience.
Switchboard/phone system experience.
Experience supporting attorneys, executives, or professional staff.
Strong email management and scheduling skills.
