Field Service Technician

The primary responsibility of this position is to provide maintenance service on lift trucks and various material handling equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for changing oil and performing routine preventative maintenance on all Industrial Equipment.
• Assess and repair damage and mechanical related issues on lift trucks.
• Provide lift truck maintenance services onsite at customer locations.
• Communicate professionally while onsite with the customer.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

• 1+ years' experience as a service technician, mechanic or similar position is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required. Technical education in automotive, heavy equipment mechanic, or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Ability to work without direct supervision.
• Ability to prioritize tasks with great attention to detail.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Working Conditions:

• Must be able to lift at least 75 pounds.
• Must be able to bend, squat, and kneel to work on Industrial Equipment.
• This position spends most of the day in a warehouse setting.
• Some travel to customer locations is required, so outside work may be mandatory.

Compensation:

• The expected starting hourly range for this role is $23 - $35 per hour. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, performance and business needs.
