Fabrication Production Worker

Fabrication Production worker will work directly on a production line to ensure a product is de-boned, trimmed or cut to customer specifications. They will be responsible for being an example to other team members using a continuous improvement mentality and will work to perpetuate a "Creekstone Proud" culture through attitude and actions.

Essential functions include cutting, trimming, fabricating and packaging beef products in a production line setting. Processing will involve use of a knife and hook to bone out or trim large pieces of product or may involve the use of powered equipment such as saws or wizard knives.

Work environment is cold and damp with temperatures of less than 45 degrees. It is a fast paced and physically demanding position. All other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities include standing entire shift on concrete and/or elevated platform, lifting, pulling, pushing, or carry up to 60 lbs. for knife positions and 100 lbs. for non-knife positions on occasion, tolerating repetitive motion using your hands/wrist/arm/torso and legs, using the proper equipment to trim, debone, skin meat product, willingness to wear necessary personal protective equipment such has hardhat, steel-toed-boots, gloves, etc., willingness to work with sharp knives, some power equipment and/or saws, ability to work in cold/damp indoor working conditions, and must be able to work at a steady pace.

Physical requirements include climbing occasionally, stooping occasionally, crouching occasionally, standing for 8 or more hours per day, walking frequently, pushing frequently, pulling frequently, gasping frequently, repetitive motions frequently, and lifting: 0 – 100#.
