Bilingual Therapies is seeking a qualified School Social Worker to support students across elementary school and preschool settings in Ionia, Michigan. This full-time, onsite opportunity offers the chance to provide meaningful social-emotional support while collaborating with school teams to help students succeed academically and personally.
Position Details
Full-time position
37.5 hours per week
Start date: August 24, 2026
Contract through May 14, 2027
Approximately 40 students
Supporting two elementary schools and a preschool classroom
Onsite position
Responsibilities
Provide school social work services to support students’ academic, social, and emotional needs.
Support students across elementary and preschool settings.
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and other school professionals.
Help students navigate social-emotional and behavioral challenges that may impact their educational experience.
Qualifications & Experience
Approval from the Michigan Department of Education as a School Social Worker is required.
School-based experience is preferred.
Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential.
