Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification (or eligibility for certification)
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or related field
• Previous experience in a Special Education classroom preferred
• Strong understanding of IEPs and special education compliance
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Passion for creating inclusive and supportive learning environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs
• Adapt general curriculum and deliver differentiated instruction in various settings
• Assess student progress, record data, and report on outcomes
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related services staff, and families
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation complying with school and legal requirements
• Foster a safe, positive, and engaging classroom atmosphere that encourages student growth
• Participate in IEP meetings, staff development, and trainings as required
