As a Software Engineer III, you'll design and build the scalable backend services and integrations that connect Spreetail's platform to the world's largest sales channels. This is a high-ownership role for an engineer who thinks in systems — you'll shape architecture, solve hard problems, and keep high-throughput services reliable as we scale.

How you will achieve success:

• Design and implement scalable services and integrations that power multi-channel ecommerce.
• Lead architecture and system design discussions, and participate in code reviews.
• Write high-quality, maintainable, well-tested code.
• Improve automation, monitoring, and operational reliability.
• Cross-collaborate with teams across Spreetail to deliver end-to-end.

What experiences will help you in this role:

• 5–8 years of backend software engineering experience.
• Strong system design and software architecture skills — you've designed and owned systems at scale.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong sense of ownership.
• Proficiency in at least one of Java, C#, or Python (must have).
• Working knowledge of.NET.
• Proficient in backend development and cloud infrastructure.
• Strong debugging, testing, and documentation skills.
• Cross-team collaboration experience.
• Nice-to-have: experience with distributed systems, event-driven architecture, or marketplace/channel integrations.

This is a remote position and requires candidates to have an available work-from-home setup.

Desktop/Laptop system requirements:

• 4th generation or higher, at least Intel i3 or equivalent processor;
• at least 4GB RAM;
• Windows 10 and above or MAC OSX operating system
• You are required to provide your own dual monitors
• A strong and stable internet connection (A DSL, cable or fiber wired internet service with 10 Mbps plan or higher for primary connection)
• PC Headset
• A high-definition (HD) external or integrated webcam with at least 720p resolution.
