Applicants can expect to join a team that values efficiency, clarity, and reliable project outcomes. Role Description The Sales Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in New York, NY. This role is responsible for engaging prospective clients, presenting IO DESIGN’s services, and guiding clients through the sales process from initial inquiry to signed agreement. Day-to-day tasks include responding to leads, conducting consultations, preparing proposals and quotations, and following up to close opportunities. The Sales Specialist will collaborate closely with the design and operations teams to ensure client expectations are clearly set and met, and will maintain accurate records in the CRM system. The role also includes participating in sales meetings, contributing to sales strategies, and representing the brand at local events or showroom visits as needed. Qualifications Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written interaction with clients and internal teams. Customer Service skills to build trust, manage inquiries, and provide a positive client experience throughout the sales cycle. Sales skills to qualify leads, present solutions, negotiate terms, and close deals effectively. Training and Sales Management skills to support onboarding of new team members and contribute to improving sales processes and performance. Experience in interior design, architecture, or related fields is a plus. Proficiency with CRM tools and basic office software. Ability to work on-site in New York, NY, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
