Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY)is adding a  Dermatologist  to the group at  NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health.  Accommodating more than 250,000 outpatient visits, and more than 15,000 inpatient admissions annually.

The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with  SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and  NYIT College Of Osteopathic Medicine .

Opportunity Details:

\n

\n
• Attend to dermatology outpatient clinic - both direct patient panel and supervision of resident let clinics
\n
• Educate, supervise and mentor Dermatology residents
\n
• Provide clinical guidance and direction to residents, medical students and other members of the healthcare team as needed.
\n
• Performs other administrative, professional, consultative duties as needed by the Department Chairperson.

\n Qualifications\n

\n

\n
• Successful completion of an accredited residency program in Dermatology
\n
• Board certification in Dermatology or the ability to become board certified within 5 years of hire
\n
• Possession of a valid license to practice medicine in New York State.
\n
• Possession of a valid DEA license.
\n
• Excellent bedside manner and interpersonal skills.
\n
• Experience working with an under-served patient population preferred
\n

Wages and Benefits include:

\n

Annual Base Salary: $335,000* based on 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.

\n

The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at , $408,500**which includes the baseline salary, 401 (k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:.

\n

\n
• Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
\n
• 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):\n

  • Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
  \n
  • After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
  \n

• Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement.
\n
• Generous Annual Paid Time Off (PTO): Vacation, Sick, Holiday, and CME days.
\n
• Medical, Prescription, and Dental Coverage: Top-tier plans with employee contributions significantly below market rates.

• Life Insurance and Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) Coverage: Equal to 2x your salary (up to a maximum of $300,000) provided at no cost to you.\n

• Loan Forgiveness: Position may be eligible for loan forgiveness through certain state or federal programs.

• Medical Malpractice Coverage (equivalent to occurrence-based): Provided at no cost to the employee.

• Pre-tax employee-paid contributions for commuting expenses.

• Visa sponsorship will be considered for this position.
