Dispatch Communications Associate 2 - FOP OLC

Job Title Dispatch Communications Associate 2 – FOP OLC Department Health System Shared Services | Security Responsibilities Receives and relays radio communications, telephone calls, pages, overhead announcements, correspondences and teletypes. Monitors door position, burglary, fire, panic, and environmental alarms. Maintains a working knowledge of all operational security systems and surveillance equipment. Ensures accurate daily logs are completed and quality assurance is maintained at all times. Acts as a courteous liaison between the Department of Security and Hospital staff members, internal medical center departments, patients, visitors, and external law enforcement, fire and EMS entities. Multitasks and maintains accurate records and a professional demeanor while working in a fast paced environment. Competes operating telecommunication, radio access control and CCTV equipment and demonstrates good computer and data entry skills. Possesses strong verbal communication and teamwork skills. Alerts supervisor or manager about problems regarding department equipment as soon as issues are discovered.
